Mobile sharpening service
Knives, professional scissors, mower blades, garden tools, ice skates and window screen repair. From spring to fall, the truck comes to your door.
What we sharpen
Every kind of blade has its own angle and finish. Hairdressing shears never touch the same wheel as a mower blade.
Chef, santoku, paring, boning, serrated, Japanese.
Push mowers, brush cutters, garden tractors.
Pruners, shears, axes, spades, hedge trimmers.
Hairdressers, estheticians, sewing, general.
Hockey, figure skating, recreational.
Patio doors, windows and more.
The work
Rust, chips, a blade that crushes what it should be cutting.
The wheel takes the metal back past the damage. Cooled throughout: a blade that turns blue has lost its temper.
One angle, heel to tip, carried the full length of the blade.
Polished, burr removed, cut checked on paper. The blade goes back ready to work.
The workshop
These photos come out of the workshop, not a stock library. This is where your blades go.

The proof
Every blade is photographed before and after its trip to the workshop. You see exactly what you are paying for.

BeforeAfter
BeforeAfterSince 1930
The trade has not changed: a wheel, the right angle, a blade tested before it goes back. What changed is the vehicle. The horse-drawn cart became a full workshop that parks in front of your door.

How it works
Four ways to hand us your blades. Take the one that gets in your way the least.
We pick your blades up at your door and bring them back sharpened, all year round. You move nothing.
Bring your blades to the shop and pick them up ready to cut.
For a batch of blades or a business, the sharpening happens right where you are. The truck runs from spring to fall; in winter, home pickup takes over.
Outside the pickup area, your blades travel by mail or through a drop point.
Who it is for
The knife block, the mower, the pruner in the garden, the kids skates. One visit puts everything back in working order.
Sharp blades mean consistent portions and fewer injuries in the kitchen. Regular rotation, without stopping service.
Blade sets sharpened and rebalanced before the season starts, for a clean cut and an engine that works less.
Hairdressing shears, esthetics scissors, grooming blades. Fine blades sharpened by hand, pivot reset.
Skates sharpened in batches, to the same hollow from one player to the next. Batches are dropped off at the shop.
One supplier for the blades, the tools and the window screens of a whole building, invoiced once.
Service area
Home pickup covers these areas. Elsewhere, drop points and mail-in take over.
Outside these areas? Write to us, we will find a way.
